Synergos Brazil Launches Course Aimed at Improving Wellbeing in Healthcare Professionals

On September 9, Synergos Brazil officially launched the course "Wellbeing of SUS Teams: Caring for Relationships and the Work Environment", a national initiative developed in partnership with CONASS (the National Council of State Health Secretaries) and FGVSaúde of Fundação Getulio Vargas.  The launch was attended by more than 140 health professionals from the Unified Health System (SUS) from across Brazil.

The scale of this initiative is particularly exciting. The course will be offered through 22 of Brazil's 27 Schools of Public Health and is expected to reach more than 10,000 health professionals by the end of the year. These professionals are part of SUS, Brazil's Unified Health System, which is widely recognized as the largest public health system in the world.

The course includes six modules, two of which explicitly incorporate Bridging Leadership concepts and practices to the health sector. One module focuses on applying Bridging Leadership to individual wellbeing among health professionals, while another addresses the role of healthcare organizations in creating and managing environments that support staff wellbeing.
