Niu Gensheng: supporting Global Citizenship for youth
GPC member Niu Gensheng is supporting a pilot program for Global Citizenship at Mulgrave School in Vancouver, Canada.
The program seeks to cultivate globally aware and responsible individuals by integrating global perspectives and citizenship into the curriculum for senior students (Grades 10-12). The program focuses on developing students' understanding of global issues, encouraging them to become proactive in addressing challenges such as sustainability, social justice, and cultural awareness.
Through various initiatives and projects, students engage in experiential learning opportunities that promote leadership, critical thinking, and a sense of responsibility towards creating positive global change.
This initiative is also being piloted in Singapore and Europe, and the aim is to scale it accross other regions worldwide.
