GPC Member Carol Davis to Participate in the Mothers' Call Barefoot Walk for Peace

GPC member Carol Davis, based in New York, continues to support Mothers’ Call, a courageous joint initiative led by Reem Al-Hajajreh of Women of the Sun (Palestine) and Yael Admi of Women Wage Peace (Israel).

Many of you first encountered their work at this year’s Bridging Leadership Awards in New York City, where they spoke with clarity and conviction about the role of women in building trust and transforming long-standing conflict.

Mothers’ Call brings together Palestinian and Israeli women who want a future of peace, dignity, equality, and safety for every child. They are urging leaders to begin meaningful negotiations, grounded in UN Resolution 1325, and encouraging people around the world to stand with them.

 

On March 2026, Carol will support the Barefoot Walk for Peace in Rome, a symbolic gathering calling for an end to violence and a renewed commitment to a just and lasting peace. We are grateful for Carol’s ongoing commitment and for the extraordinary work of those advancing Mothers’ Call at this pivotal moment.
