
Welcome New GPC Members: Joy Lo & Shalina Wadhwani
Joy Lo Cheung is the Chairwoman of the Lo Kwee Seong Foundation, a role she was elected to in August 2025. The foundation, founded by her grandfather, Dr. Lo Kwee Seong, focuses on initiatives in Hong Kong related to sustainable agriculture, art and museum, education, career, entrepreneurship and community. She continues her family's legacy of entrepreneurial and philanthropic work.
Shalina Wadhwani is Executive Vice president at the Wadhwani Wadhwani Family Office (WFO) and the Wadhwani Impact Trust (WIT), where she leads philanthropic strategy, investment oversight, and long-term stewardship of capital. With her leadership, WFO and WIT have launched several philanthropic initiatives, including Wadhwani AI (WIAI). Founded in 2018, Wadhwani AI develops and deploys AI solutions in healthcare, education, and agriculture to improve the lives of underserved citizens. To date, WIAI has impacted over 125 million lives with 25+ solutions covering tuberculosis, maternal and child health, reading fluency, skills training, and more. Prior to joining WFO, Shalina held several leadership positions at high growth, venture backed digital health companies in New York. She received her MBA in Healthcare Management from The Wharton School and her BA in International Economics from The George Washington University.
