Cherie Nursalim emphasized the importance of bridging sectors - business, government, and civil society - and the value of connectivity, humanity, and happiness. She introduced the Balinese philosophy of Hita Karana, which highlights three elements of happiness: social harmony, harmony with nature, and spirituality. She also spoke about the role of women in her family and foundation, sharing how they inspire others through their work, despite challenges in collaboration. She reflected on the need for personal wellness to align with societal impact, encouraging individuals to contribute to positive change.

Mary Ann Tsao shared her personal motivation, rooted in childhood experiences and medical training, which led her to prioritize service to others. She addressed the importance of finding purpose, particularly for older individuals, and how her foundation helps people discover meaning in their lives. She also highlighted the family values that guide their business and philanthropic efforts, focusing on sustainability and impact. She discussed their work in blended finance, specifically its role in addressing climate action.

Both Cherie and Mary Ann underscored the holistic approach to doing good. Cherie encouraged the use of retreats and reflection journeys to inspire collective change, while Mary Ann highlighted personal development, mindfulness, and self-reflection as tools to create a more purposeful society. Together, their reflections highlighted the importance of aligning personal growth with positive, societal impact.
